DeSoto Family Theatre said “The Secret Garden” opens tonight at The Gin at Nesbit, with Max Taylor portraying Dickon.
The theater’s announcement described Dickon as having a “gentle spirit” and a deep connection to the world around him, saying he brings the garden to life in unexpected ways.
The announcement listed Taylor’s past stage credits, including “Hairspray” (Link Larkin), “Newsies” (Crutchie), “Tuck Everlasting” (Hugo), “Les Misérables” (Marius), “Footloose” (Lyle), “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” (Benjamin), “Legally Blonde” (Warner Huntington III) and “Mamma Mia!” (ensemble), DeSoto Family Theatre said.
Tickets are available at dftonline.org/thesecretgarden, the theater said. The announcement also included Taylor’s social handle, @itsmaxtaylo, and the brief personal note “Philippians 4:13.”
