DeSoto County hosts HR directors’ meeting with local officials

DeSoto County Economic Development Director Jim Flanagan hosted an HR directors’ meeting Thursday for leaders from DeSoto and Marshall counties. The event was held at Northcentral Electric Cooperative.

Attendees heard from Olive Branch Police Department Chief Carlos Garcia, Olive Branch Fire Department Chief Bill Clark, and Ben McMinn of DeSoto County Emergency Services. Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams was also present.

The gathering provided an opportunity for regional leaders to discuss public safety and workforce development initiatives, according to organizers.
