Democrats meet with Presley in Tunica County visit

About a dozen Democrats from DeSoto County heard from their party’s candidate for governor, Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley, during a recent campaign stop in Tunica.

Presley is running for governor in a challenge to Republican incumbent Gov. Tate Reeves. Presley spoke to the gathering for about 30 minutes, touting a plan to expand Medicaid and to fully fund education, if elected.

During the presentation, Presley said he plans to campaign in all 82 counties of the state and will make a stop at some point during the campaign in DeSoto County.
