D.A.R.E. Camp Features Hunter Education, Trampoline Park Visit, Sheriff’s Office Says
The Panola County Sheriff’s Office said Day 2 of its D.A.R.E. Camp included hunter education where campers learned firearm safety, outdoor responsibility and other life skills.
The sheriff’s office said instructors from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks led the sessions. The office thanked Taco Bell for providing breakfast and Popeyes of Senatobia for providing lunch on Day 2.
Day 3 ended with a trip to Just Flip It Trampoline Park, the sheriff’s office said. The office said Justin Pope visited and spoke with campers. It also thanked McDonald’s for breakfast and Bubba Moore for providing lunch.
The Panola County Sheriff’s Office thanked school resource officers and staff from the Batesville Police Department and the sheriff’s office for their work with the campers. The office said sponsors and community partners helped create a week of learning, fun and lasting memories.
