Emma Matas has been located and found safe, the Panola County Sheriff’s Office said. The office had been looking for Matas after she was reported as a runaway.
Matas was last seen at her residence on Phelps Road in southern Panola County at about 8:30 the previous night, according to the sheriff’s office. The original notice asked anyone who had seen her or knew where she was to call the Panola County E-911 call center at 662-487-2430.
