City of Southaven upgrades Cherry Valley Park; fall youth registration open

The city of Southaven said upgrades at Cherry Valley Park are complete, including a new bike track and skate park that officials say are attracting children of all ages. The park also is home to Southaven Youth Football, the city said.

City officials said the pedestrian path has been finished and new playground equipment has been installed. The concessions stand received a fresh coat of paint, the city said.

Southaven is currently enrolling participants for fall 2026 youth football and cheerleading, the city said. Registration information is available at https://southaven.org/192/Football for football and https://southaven.org/191/Cheerleading for cheerleading, the city said.
