The Chamber said on its website that consumers are significantly more likely to purchase from and recommend businesses that are active Chamber members, the organization said.
The Chamber attributed the preference to member businesses’ investment in local events, economic growth, community development and the future of the community, the statement said.
The Chamber maintains an online directory of local member businesses at https://www.hernandoms.org/list/, the website says.
The Chamber said choosing a Chamber member means supporting a business that supports the community every day, the statement added.
