Boards of aldermen set to meet Tuesday evening

Here are links to the agendas for board of aldermen meetings in DeSoto County on the first Tuesday of November, Nov. 1.

Southaven Board of Aldermen agenda

Planning agenda items will include design reviews for two new Cookout restaurants in the city, at 1179 Main Street and at 3212 Goodman Road. There will also be a design review application for a new Hampton Inn and Suites in the Diamonds of Snowden Grove subdivision.  Meeting starts Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.

Olive Branch Board of Aldermen agenda

The Mayor’s Award for October will be presented to Senior Center Coordinator Norma Shaw. Aldermen will consider approval of adding city holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas, with city offices to be closed on Friday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Dec. 23. Aldermen will also consider organizational changes with the Olive Branch Airport department.  Meeting starts Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m.

Hernando Board of Aldermen agenda

Board members will consider retaining the name of the playground and street at Civic Center ball fields after upgrading and reconstruction. Meeting starts Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.

Horn Lake Board of Aldermen agenda

Consent agenda items will include acknowledging and approving Gov. Tate Reeves’ proclamation for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s holiday additional dates with city offices to be closed on Nov. 25, Dec. 23, and on Jan. 2, and approval of a $10,000 sponsorship for the Horn Lake Touchdown Club. Meeting starts Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
