Bank First donates to Youth Villages

Jan. 22, 2025-A check presentation was held Wednesday afternoon at Youth Villages in Hernando, thanks to a local bank.

Bank First DeSoto County President Kyle McCoy has encouraged his employees to nominate a local nonprofit that would receive a $1,000 donation from the bank.

Hernando branch manager Pam Lester nominated Youth Villages for the donation and Wednesday she and McCoy stopped by the Hernando office to present the check.

Youth Villages is a nonprofit organization that helps children and families who are facing emotional, mental, and behavioral challenges. They provide services to help children stay in their communities, and to improve their long-term success.
