Organizers said Community Bank will sponsor the seventh annual Women in Business luncheon, a networking event aimed at women and their supporters. Registration is available online.

Organizers said a B2B AM networking event at Olive Garden is scheduled for tomorrow and that Chick-fil-A Southaven will provide breakfast and coffee. They encouraged attendees to bring business cards and a guest.

Olive Branch officials say Looney Road will be closed just west of 13870 Looney Road from 9 a.m. April 7 to 4 p.m. April 9 for drain work. A gate will be opened to allow access for three homes through Center Hill High School, officials said.

DeSoto Hope will hold its Light Up the Lake lantern ceremony from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Field of Dreams Lake in Snowden Grove Park, organizers said.

The event will feature more than 50 vendors, food trucks, inflatable attractions and pet services, Denise’s Happy Hounds said in a social media post.

The Southaven Chamber of Commerce said the Community Easter Egg Hunt and Photo Stop Trail is underway, inviting residents to visit participating businesses, snap photos and tag posts with #sccegghunt2026 for a chance to win a prize.
