Ribbon cut on Hernando beautification projects
The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce announced that ribbon-cutting ceremonies have been held for several long-awaited projects around Hernando, including wayfinding signs, string lights on Panola Street and music around the historic town square.
The organization said the projects were implemented using ARPA funding. In 2023, $3 million in ARPA funding was allocated for eligible projects in Mississippi Main Street Association-designated communities, according to the chamber.
