The Southaven Chamber of Commerce announced Londyn Schumacher won first place in the Southaven Magazine photo contest; her photos will be on display at the chamber offices in May and at the chamber’s August Quarterly Luncheon.

A social media post called its board of directors “working, dedicated and passionate” and warned that content may be unavailable because of privacy settings or deletion, the post said.

Mayor Ken Adams and city staff found a goose at City Hall that city officials said is keeping watch over a nest. The city urged people to respect the area and contact wildlife rehabilitators if needed.
