Organizers said the inaugural Sunset on the Square in Hernando left the newly renovated courthouse lawn nearly spotless.
Attendees gathered on the downtown square for music and an evening program, organizers said.
Organizers thanked residents who joined the event and helped keep the square clean, saying community events are possible when people take pride in their town.
Organizers said the next Sunset on the Square is scheduled for next Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
