Libraries receive grants for meeting rooms

A Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant administered through the Mississippi Library Commission has allowed three branches of the First Regional Library to now offer enhanced meeting room experiences for nonprofit groups.

The M.R. Davis Public Library in Southaven, The B.J. Chain Public Library in Olive Branch, and the M.R. Dye Public Library in Horn Lake all have new meeting room equipment, including sound bars, laser pointers, Blu-Ray players, televisions, projectors, Owl Cameras for 360° online meetings, and more.

Nonprofit groups interested in booking a meeting room at one of these branches may call or stop by to check eligibility and availability. Branch contact info is available at https://firstregional.org/contact-us.
