Monday’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. in Hernando.

WastePro is taking over for Waste Connections, which had been servicing Southaven customers.

Garbage collection service returns after last week’s snowfall.

Residents should check with their city offices for more information pertaining to their particular location.

It does not apply to people who live in a city or town.

The county’s contract with Waste Pro ended at the end of September and when put out for bid, supervisors selected Waste Connections.

Garbage and recycling will change effective Oct. 1 from Waste Pro to Waste Connections.

The city said ADSI will begin the distribution of (NEW) Blue carts on Monday, Oct. 16 and will finish delivering on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Recycling service will begin Dec. 4 and will cost an extra $10 a month.
