MDOT employees recognized for their service

Forty-four employees were honored for their years of service at the ceremony.

Work has started on an intersection improvement project at U.S. 51 and Turman in Southaven.

“It’s great to get more projects moving, but our list is long and growing.”

Hubert was an active resident in Marshall County.

Meeting will provide information on the improvement project.

You may see more motorcycles and cyclists on the road.

Updates on road and bridge construction projects in northwest Mississippi.

Residents are invited to come and go as they please during the meeting to view the department’s plans and to speak to MDOT representatives.

Studies have shown that roundabouts don’t eliminate all crashes, but crashes that do happen in a roundabout are often less severe.

These promotions come on the heels of several staff changes and organizational restructuring as part of the agency’s continued focus on efficiency.
