Thompson’s defense helped Northwest to a three-match winning streak.

Northwest compiled over 300 yards of total offense for the second straight week, improving to 2-1 on the season.

Northwest (9-0, 2-0 MACCC) will host Southwest Mississippi on Friday, September 22 at 1 p.m.

For the season, Harrell is 6-0 and has 21 saves against one goal.

Both players are the first Lady Rangers to be selected for the POTW accolades.

The Rangers have started every season ranked in the NJCAA polls since 2015, except for the 2020 season affected by COVID-19.
