The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce is hosting a morning of events March 21 to showcase Everworth Apparel Co., Sweet Magnolias Gifts and the Apollo Medical Dispensary, the chamber said in a post.

A social media post invited families to “Meet the Easter Bunny” with the HYPE group, but the content was unavailable when viewed, according to the post’s notice. The notice said the post may have been shared with a limited audience, had its visibility changed, or was deleted.

City of Olive Branch and local agencies announced a breakfast event with first responders at Chick-fil-A Olive Branch, with posts listing times and activities for families.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux announced plans to mark its one-year anniversary in Southaven and invited patrons to join the celebration, the restaurant said.

Southaven Young Professionals will hold an On the Menu lunch and networking event March 18 featuring Jeff Jones, organizers said. The event is open to all ages and includes lunch; registration is available online.

The north section of Bates Street between Court Street and Acorn Lane will be closed tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. for emergency sewer repair, a notice said. The notice said officials did not know how long the closure would last and would post updates when the street reopens.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, DeSoto County government said. Voters can see who is on the ballot and find their polling place on the county’s websites, the notice posted by Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams said.

Desoto County Emergency Services advised Olive Branch residents to review safety plans, charge devices and sign up for local alerts ahead of possible severe spring weather.

Buon Cibo said it is celebrating its 15th anniversary and credited community support and staff for its growth. The restaurant also said its newest project, Cheebo, grew out of that support.
