Woman dies in weekend crash on I-22
A woman died over the weekend in a crash on I-22 in Marshall County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The accident took place Saturday morning about 5 a.m. A 23-year-old driver, heading east on the interstate in an SUV struck a van parked on the shoulder of the roadway.
The driver was not hurt but a passenger, identified as Madison G. Lindley, age 29, died as a result of the collision.
MHP continues its investigation of the crash.
