Three children reported as kidnapped near Tupelo

On March 7th, 2023, the Lee County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call in regards to a possible kidnapping. Upon arrival deputies spoke with a victim that said her biological father drove from Kentucky to the Shannon area and kidnapped her three children.

The suspect broke into the home and brandished a gun threatening her. The suspect then kidnapped her three children and left (for what we believe) to return to his home in Kentucky.

An Investigation began and request was made to issue an amber alert. It is believed the suspect and children are possibly out of state at this time.

An investigation is currently ongoing and we will issue an update as more information is available.

Suspect:
Douglas Mills- 52 years of age.

Children:
Connor Sischer 8 years of age
Carsen Sischer 6 years of age
Caisyn Sischer 2 years of age.
