Sheriff Shane Phelps and Chief Deputy Reginald Lantern were recognized at the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Upsilon Tau Zeta Chapter Scholarship Luncheon, the Panola County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office said the two were recognized alongside honorees making positive contributions through service, leadership, education, business, health care and community involvement.
The office also thanked the sorority’s Upsilon Tau Zeta Chapter for its commitment to scholarships, service, sisterhood and uplifting the next generation.
