Pea Ridge Recycling acquires Pontotoc Aluminum Recycling

Aug 13, 2024- Pea Ridge Recycling is proud to announce the acquisition of Pontotoc Aluminum Recycling, located at the corner of West Reynolds Street and South Columbia Street. This acquisition will significantly enhance the scrap metal division of Pea Ridge Recycling, now known as Pea Ridge Metals.

The newly acquired facility is ideally located adjacent to the Pontotoc Police Department and directly across the street from the future fire department, prime for allowing Pea Ridge Metals to serve the growing needs of the Pontotoc community more efficiently.

“We are excited to enhance the facilities of Pontotoc Aluminum Recycling to accommodate the dreams that we have and also the desires of Pontotoc,” said Jay Luna, General Manager of Pea Ridge Recycling. “Our vision is to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers and the community as a whole.”

Pontotoc Aluminum Recycling has had a longstanding presence in the area, and Pea Ridge Metals plans to build on the foundation it established by providing the best scrap metal pricing in the region. “We believe in the potential of this facility and are committed to ensuring that our customers receive top value for their scrap metals,” Luna added.

The acquisition marks another step in Pea Ridge’s commitment to expanding its services and advancing responsible waste management practices to local communities. Enhancements to the facilities are set to begin immediately.

Pea Ridge Recycling, a subsidiary of Trinity Business Group, is a Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality Certified Class 1 Rubbish Site (Construction and Demolition Debris Landfill) located in Oxford, Mississippi.
