Marshall County deputies looking for information on armed carjacking
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for assistance in gathering information related to an armed carjacking incident that occurred on Highway 309 North in the Byhalia area. The incident took place at approximately 6:15 p.m. on the evening of Jan. 18.
The victim, owner of a black 2020 Grand Cherokee Jeep with a black Mississippi license plate bearing the tag “RNCHB,” was confronted by at least two male suspects who forcibly took possession of the vehicle. Following the carjacking, the suspects fled the scene, driving north on Highway 309 North toward Collierville, Tennessee.
Authorities believe that the stolen vehicle, a black 2020 Grand Cherokee Jeep with the distinctive license plate “RNCHB,” may currently be located in the vicinity of 2231 South Third Street in Memphis. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is urging anyone with information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle to come forward.
In a bid to expedite the apprehension of the suspects involved in this case, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is offering a substantial reward for any credible information that leads to their arrest and subsequent conviction.
Residents and community members are encouraged to share this information widely in the hopes that it will aid law enforcement in locating the stolen vehicle and bringing those responsible for the armed carjacking to justice.
