Iconic Mississippi Restaurant Crystal Grill Announces They Are Closing Effective Immediately

One of the most iconic restaurants in Missisisppi, the Crystal Grill in Greenwood, announced that they will be closing effective immediately according to a release from the owner of the establishment.

The Crystal Grill, an after church staple in the Mississippi Delta, has been family-owned and operated since 1933, is a Top 10 restaurant by multiple publcations, and they have been featured by both the Food Network and “Southern Living”.

The editor of the DeSoto County News calls them a top ‘old South’ style restaurant in the United States.

With careful thought and a heavy heart, we are announcing that our family restaurant, The Crystal Grill, is closing. After many years, we have made this hard decision to close our doors effective immediately. 

We are very grateful to our loyal employees throughout the years. Our success couldn’t have happened without your hard work. 

Most of all, we are thankful to our customers in Greenwood and beyond. We enjoyed being a part of your lives as you gathered and celebrated throughout the years. Your belief in us has played a huge part in the success of the restaurant.
