Campbell Clinic expands to Oxford
Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics is announcing that it will open a new clinic location at 2580 South Lamar Boulevard in Oxford, MS this spring, further bolstering its position as the largest orthopaedic practice in the West Tennessee and North Mississippi region. With locations in Germantown, Collierville, Midtown Memphis, East Memphis, Arlington, Southaven and Olive Branch, Campbell Clinic is a national and international leader in musculoskeletal care.
The practice’s geographic expansion is an effort to continually provide increased access to care for Campbell Clinic’s valued patients throughout the Mid-South region and beyond.
“By planting roots in Oxford, we are growing our regional presence closer to where our patients live, work and play,” says Dr. Frederick Azar, Chief of Staff of Campbell Clinic. “We look forward to bringing the highest level of care to patients in the area needing everything from pediatrics to geriatric care.”
Daniel Shumate, CEO of Campbell Clinic, agrees. “We’ve served our valued patients in North Mississippi for over three decades via our Southaven location and, more recently, via our Olive Branch location,” he says. “We look forward to bringing our services closer to our dedicated patients in the Oxford area and offering our expertise to new patients in the surrounding area as well.”
The new Oxford location, staffed by Campbell Clinic providers, will be open Monday through Friday and will be a full-service clinic offering the full spectrum of orthopaedic services including walk-in services, urgent orthopaedic care, x-ray, casting and physical therapy services. In addition to sports medicine services provided by Henry Sherman, M.D., the clinic will offer sub-specialty orthopaedic services such a foot and ankle surgery by orthopaedic surgeons, Drew Murphy, M.D. and David Richardson, M.D., as well as knee and shoulder services by orthopaedic surgeon, Anthony Mascioli, M.D., and Benjamin Sheffer, M.D. – the only fellowship trained – orthopaedic pediatric physician in the area. Campbell Clinic will be announcing additional orthopaedic sub-specialties at a later date. Campbell Clinic is actively hiring local staff to join the clinic from clinical support staff to x-ray techs and everything in between.
