Leaders from business, government, education, philanthropy and journalism will gather in Jackson for Mississippi Today’s second annual “All In on Mississippi” summit, an afternoon of conversations about the forces shaping the state’s future.
The summit begins at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Two Mississippi Museums. It caps a two-day celebration of Mississippi Today’s 10th anniversary.
This year’s program opens with a conversation on artificial intelligence and trust in the news, then moves through panels on Mississippi’s changing workforce, the growth of apprenticeship programs and what comes next for the state’s nationally recognized gains in childhood literacy.
“The state’s future depends on a strong education system that prepares people for an evolving job market,” said Emily Wagster Pettus, editor-in-chief of Mississippi Today. “We believe that the ‘All In’ summit will provide substantive conversations about Mississippi’s path forward.”
