Reeves releases second television campaign ad

The campaign for governor returns to the airwaves as the Gov. Tate Reeves’ re-election campaign has released his second television advertisement. Titled “You’re Hired,” the 30 second announcement focuses on the state’s economic performance over the last few years.  The ad touts Mississippi’s lowest-in-history unemployment rate and climbing wages.

Reeves is running for re-election as governor with Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley as his Democratic challenger.

“Mississippians are making more money and have more options today because our economy is stronger than ever,” said Reeves. “It is the strength of Mississippi workers, sound conservative policy, and the creative, tenacious work ethic of Mississippi business leaders that brought us here. I’m honored to help play a role.”
