HUSTLE GARNER SPLIT WITH SPURS: The Memphis Hustle (5-7) defeated the Austin Spurs (8-3) 100-96 Saturday night to split the back-to-back set in Austin.
Armando Bacot led the Hustle with 17 points and 13 rebounds. David Johnson scored 16 points off the bench. Miles Norris contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds. Lucas Williamson totaled 12 points. Race Thompson added 11 points off the bench. Mãozinha Pereira tallied nine points and 11 rebounds.
Isaiah Miller paced the Spurs with 21 points off the bench. Malachi Flynn added 18 points. Riley Minix tallied 17 points and eight rebounds.
Memphis’ road trip continues as the Hustle head to Mexico City to battle the Capitanes in a back-to-back set starting on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m.
