Grenada 14, DeSoto Central 13

Note: Chris Thomas of DeSoto Central returned a blocked punt 20 yards for a touchdown and Quintin Hannah caught a short pass for another Jaguar score. But the extra point was blocked and that became the difference in the game. McCaleb Taylor scored both touchdowns for Grenada in the win, its seventh straight in the all-time series against DeSoto Central.

Northpoint Christian 21, University School of Jackson, Tenn. 10

Note: Demontae Dillard scores three touchdowns Northpoint in the victory. Trojans improve to 2-0 in district play ahead of Thursday game against St. George’s.
