Hernando’s Jeter inks commitment to Lyon College softball

Hernando High School softball righthanded pitcher and outfielder Christina Jeter has signed to play college softball next season for Lyon College, an NAIA program in Batesville, Arkansas.

Lyon College, part of the American Midwest Conference, is coached by Taylor Kuhn, who has been the coach of the Scots since December 2020. Kuhn was an assistant at the Arkansas school before being elevated to head coach. Last season’s team finished with a record of 13-24 and was 10-8 in conference games.
