Football all-star game rosters released
The Mississippi Association of Coaches Wednesday announced the rosters for the Mississippi/Alabama and Bernard Blackwell North vs. South all-star football games, which will be played in December.

DeSoto County is represented on the Mississippi all-star roster with defensive back John Slaughter of Southaven as the only selection. The Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game is Dec. 10 in Mobile, Alabama.
On the North roster for the Bernard Blackwell game Dec. 17 in Gulfport will be defensive back Trison Booker of DeSoto Central, defensive lineman Ian Jeffries of Southaven, placekicker Jackson Uselton of Hernando, offensive lineman Colin Rayborn of Southaven, and Center Hill coach Alan Peacock as assistant coach.
