County bowlers named to All-Star event

The Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star Bowling event will take place on Feb. 8-9 at Depot Bowling Lanes in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Activities will begin at 10 a.m. each day. Girls will bowl on Friday and the boys will take to the lanes on Saturday.

All-star boys bowlers from DeSoto County are Garrett Brown of Olive Branch; along with Jayden Craigen, Drew Groscost, and Brayden Holliman, all of Lewisburg; and Tristan Mens of DeSoto Central.

All-star girls bowlers from DeSoto County include Allie Chastain and Emma English of Southaven, Brooklyn Gaines, Megan Roberts, and Kayla Tilman from DeSoto Central, and Bailee Shields of Lewisburg.
