Barton named MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week
- Northwest’s Ann Marie Barton named MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season

SENATOBIA — Northwest Mississippi Community College’s Ann Marie Barton has earned MACCC Goalie of the Week honors for the second time this season after back-to-back victories helped the Rangers close out the regular season in dominant fashion.
The Olive Branch sophomore made eight saves on ten shots in a 6-1 win over No. 10 Jones College and a 4-1 victory against Southwest Mississippi Community College. Her highlight moment came late in the match against SMCC when she stopped a penalty kick to help seal the win.
Barton previously received the award on September 9 and continues to be a defensive anchor for the Rangers. Through 14 matches, she has 27 saves and six shutouts as Northwest has outscored opponents 95-15 this season.
