Americans to tackle Gladiators this weekend

The Memphis Americans men’s and women’s teams will face the Rome Gladiators for the second time this season Saturday, March 19. Kickoff for the first match is at 3:30 p.m. Central time at the Landers Center in Southaven.

Both Memphis Americans teams most recently faced the Columbus Rapids at home on Saturday, Mar. 5. The men won 4-1, moving their season record to 9-4, and the women, who are currently 11-2 on the season, won 8-0.

The Rome Gladiators men’s team is led by coach Joao Garcia, while the women’s team has Mike Cediel at the helm. The men are looking for their first win of the season, while the women are looking to improve their 6-2 season record.

Both teams will square off again Sunday, March 20, also at the Landers Center, starting at 3:30 p.m.
