SPORTS EXTRA: DeSoto County volleyball players named to play in this year’s Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star Game on July 14 at Millsaps College include two from Lewisburg, two from DeSoto Central, and one each from Lake Cormorant and Center Hill.  

The Lewisburg all-stars are Sadie Bridgforth and Ellie Morgan. From DeSoto Central will come Kennedy Smith and Avery Wolf. Lake Cormorant will contribute Jasmine Chacon and Center Hill is represented by Olivia Hines.  They will play against their South counterparts for a North team coached this year by Eric Lancaster of Alcorn Central and Stephanie Cleveland of Belmont.
