Americans women win NISL soccer title, men are second

The Memphis Americans indoor soccer teams both were in National Indoor Soccer League championship action Sunday in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

It was a championship afternoon for the Memphis Americans women, who won the inaugural NISL title game over the Rome Gladiators 5-3.

However, the day did not go as well for the men, as the host Fury took home the league crown with a 5–3 victory over the Americans.

No official announcements have been yet made, but there’s already reports the league will continue play next season with at least two more franchises in the league.
