• Per Gov. Tate Reeves proclamation, the deadline has been extended to March 3 in the 49 counties affected by the winter storm to submit ad valorem taxes to county tax collectors and delay fines for not submitting them. There is an automatic 14-day grace period for car tags. DeSoto County is among the counties that are affected by the proclamation.
