Horn Lake is set to become the latest corner of the Whataburger world. Beginning Monday, June 3 with a grand opening at 11 a.m., the newest Whataburger restaurant will open initially as a drive-through near the corner of Goodman Road West and Horn Lake Road.

The burger chain will now have three locations in DeSoto County after the two restaurants in Southaven that became the franchise’s first entry into the Mid-South.

The store will offer the first customers in the two drive-through lines free Whataburgers for a year.

Whataburger says it “serves up Goodness 24/7.” Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1950 and now has over 1,000 restaurants in 15 states.
