West End Retro Run features 5K, 1K races and post-race family activities

The West End Retro Run was scheduled to take place that day, with the 5K beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the 1K starting at 9:30 a.m., according to the Southaven Chamber of Commerce.

Participants who had not picked up their race packets were asked to do so between 7:15 and 8:15 a.m. at City Hall. Family-friendly activities were planned at Saucier Park after the race.
