During the resulting investigation, officers were told that two gunshot victims had gone to Baptist-DeSoto, victims that matched the description of two of the suspects involved in the “shots fired” incident. They were reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.

A third suspect was located at the hospital and taken into custody, but because of the nature of the call and location of suspects at the hospital, Baptist-DeSoto was placed in lockdown for a short time.

Police said all of the suspects in the case are now in custody and there is no threat to the public.

The suspects have been identified as two juveniles and ChyTearnye Williams, a black female, age 18 of Southaven.. Williams is being charged with conspiracy to commit a crime.

One of the juveniles is being charged with attempted murder. That juvenile, and another one who is a suspect, are both being charged with conspiracy to commit a crime.

Police say the case is an ongoing investigation and more information is expected when it becomes available.
