Sweet Fizz to open in Hernando; ribbon cutting set for Aug. 7

Sweet Fizz Hernando will hold a soft opening and ribbon cutting Friday, Aug. 7, the business and the Hernando Chamber said. The event marks the arrival of the new soda shop in Hernando, Mississippi.

The shop plans a grand opening open to the public Saturday, Aug. 8, the organizers said. Visitors are invited to sample the shop’s “dirty soda” creations and other offerings.

The Hernando Chamber said it will welcome Sweet Fizz to the community at the ribbon-cutting event. The chamber and the business encouraged residents to attend.

Organizers asked the community to support the new local business, saying life is sweeter when residents back local entrepreneurs, according to the announcement.
