The roadway at Church Road and Pleasant Hill Road has reopened and traffic is flowing normally, Mayor Ken Adams said.
Earlier, Adams urged motorists to avoid the area because of a motor vehicle accident that involved injuries. He said westbound lanes were shut down while crews responded.
Adams said at the time there was no estimated timeframe for when law enforcement crews would be able to reopen the roadway.
Adams thanked residents for their patience and asked motorists to stay safe.
