Sunset on the Square returns for Thursdays in June

Sunset on the Square, a yearly event organized by the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce, will begin next Thursday, June 6.

Sibonie Swatzyna, Executive Director, states, “We will be rocking to the sounds of music from some of our local bands from 7-9 p.m.”

This event began in 2010 to give the community an event to look forward to every year.

This year’s series includes four local bands. Starting June 6, The Amber McCain Band will hit the stage, followed by Truck Patch Revival on June 13, Southbound Band on June 20, and Twin Soul on June 27.

In addition to the bands, guests can look forward to delicious local food. The food line up for this year’s Sunset on the Square includes StaMar’s Concession, Chick-Fil-A Southaven, EMJ’S Italian Ice, and PJ’s Wraps & Sweets.

Sunset on the Square T-Shirts will also be available for purchase.

“Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy Thursdays under the stars,” Swatzyna closes.
