Organizers canceled tonight’s Sunset on the Square because a forecasted tropical system could bring unpredictable rain and thunderstorms, event organizers said.
They said the decision was made out of concern for vendors, musicians and attendees and to prevent potential damage to the Courthouse Lawn from heavy rain.
Organizers thanked the public for their understanding and said they look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday.
