Southaven man dies in crash
The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) is investigating a crash on Thursday afternoon that took the life of a Southaven man.
The Highway Patrol reports troopers were called to a crash in Panola County about 4 p.m. Thursday.
A 2022 Kenworth driven by Elbert L. White, age 53 of Southaven, was traveling south on Highway 35 when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree.
MHP reports that White received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
