Southaven High School evacuated after bomb threat

Southaven High School was evacuated early Wednesday morning after a bomb threat according to Southaven Police.

The Police made the following announcement around 8:30 am via their social media:

“Southaven Police Department is currently investigating a bomb threat at Southaven High School. The school has been evacuated and all students have been moved to a safe location as we investigate.

Please avoid this area as there is a large police presence at this time.

We will provide an update as soon as we are able to do so.”
