SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — Amber Bell, a Southaven-based entrepreneur originally from Milwaukee, is making waves in business, publishing, and entertainment while breaking barriers as the first Black woman to own a medical transportation company serving North Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee.
Bell launched her medical transportation business to provide a vital service for families and patients in need of reliable travel to medical appointments. The company has become a regional success story, with Bell recognized as the first Black female to establish such a business in both Southaven and Memphis.
Her entrepreneurial journey is fueled by a background that blends marketing, psychology, and the entertainment industry. Bell earned an associate’s degree in marketing communication and psychology before moving into creative business ventures. She once worked as an A&R (Artists & Repertoire) representative with Universal Records, gaining experience in talent management and the music industry.
In addition to her transportation company, Bell founded Faith Management, a venture dedicated to business growth and personal development. She also pursued her passion for writing and published “Weight Snatching ’N’ Snacking With Amber”, a cookbook and lifestyle guide that promotes healthy, flavorful eating habits.
