Southaven chamber plans luau-themed patio social

The Southaven Chamber announced it will host a Patio Social: Luau Party meant to combine business networking with a summer celebration, the chamber said.

Organizers encouraged attendees to wear Hawaiian shirts, bring coworkers and come ready to unwind and connect, according to a chamber news release.

The chamber credited sponsors Tropical Getaways and Standard Sales Company, Mississippi for helping bring an “aloha spirit” to the event, the release said.

Organizers said attendees can expect an evening of socializing and networking that aims to feel like a getaway without leaving town, the release said.
