One dead after Southaven motor vehicle accident

Southaven police report that one person has died as a result of a traffic accident on Wednesday evening, March 12.  

Officers were called to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Goodman Road East and Snowden Lane about 8:50 p.m., a crash that involved a motorcycle and SUV. Aid was administered to the driver of the motorcycle by the officers until EMS arrived to transport the driver to Baptist-DeSoto, where the driver succumbed to the injuries on arrival. 

Police have not immediately identified the driver’s name. No one in the SUV was hurt when the crash took place.
