Olive Branch to host community shred, drug take-back day on April 25

The Olive Branch Police Department said it will host a Community Shred and Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 25, at the Olive Branch Police Department building.

DeSoto Shred will provide shredding services from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the department said.

Mayor Ken Adams said residents should safely dispose of unwanted, unused or expired medications to help keep the community safe. He said misuse or abuse of prescription drugs increases the risk of tragic outcomes.

The Olive Branch Police Department said year-round prescription medication disposal locations include Mike’s Pharmacy at 9065 Sandidge Center Cv., Ste. A, Olive Branch, Miss., and the Olive Branch Police Department lobby at 10470 MS-178, Olive Branch, Miss. 38654.
